"Show Sidebar Icon" keeps enabling on extension widget

PRECONDITIONS:

GPT extension downloaded

STEPS:

1. Click on the GPT Workspace icon from the extensions menu on the top right portion of the window

2. Click on the gray Gear icon on the top right corner of extension window

3. On the "Show Sidebar icon" section click on the toggle button on the right to disable (blue when enabled, light gray when disabled)

EXPECTED RESULT:

Sidebar icon on all windows should be not visible until enabled

ACTUAL RESULT:

Initally Sidebar icon will disappear, but after refreshing web page, opening new window, or without reason, the sidebar icopn will reappear and I would need to disable it numerous times
